#13 – Season 1 Finale — A Rhythm of Rest
Episode 13: Season 1 Finale — A Rhythm of Rest
After 12 episodes and 800+ listens, we’re wrapping up Season 1 of Body & Belonging with a little celebration—and a little rest. ❤️
In this short season finale, I’m sharing why I’m intentionally pressing pause on podcast production for a season and what I’m learning about rest, margin, and trusting what’s next.
When I started this podcast a few months ago, I took some messy, imperfect steps forward. I didn’t have everything figured out, and I certainly didn’t produce everything perfectly—but I did it anyway. And honestly? This podcast has become one of the things I’ve most enjoyed doing each week.
But I also realized something important: I added the podcast to my life without taking anything else off my plate.
So now I’m practicing what I preach.
This season of rest will include less social media, time away from Wi-Fi, camping, reading real books, and creating more intentional structure and margin in my week. That margin will allow me to continue caring well for my 1:1 clients while also making space to listen, reflect, and discern what’s next for Body & Belonging.
I don’t know exactly what Season 2 will look like yet. It may include another round of mentorship, a course, new podcast conversations—or something I haven’t even thought of yet.
And I’m giving myself permission not to rush the answer.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Celebrating more than 800 listens and the people behind those numbers
- What I’ve learned from creating the first 12 episodes
- Why I’m taking a podcasting pause
- The importance of creating rhythms of rest and margin
- Why sometimes the next faithful thing isn't to do more
- What I’m making space for in the next season of Body & Belonging
- How you can help shape what comes next
I’d love to hear from you. If you’ve been listening, I genuinely want to know:
Which episode resonated with you most? What gave you a lightbulb moment? What would you love to dive deeper into? What are you struggling with when it comes to food, your body, or belonging?
Your questions and experiences will help shape where we go next.
And if there’s an episode you loved, share it with someone you think needs to hear it.
The best way to stay connected while the podcast is resting is to join my email list at the link below. I’ll continue sending my Tuesday Tips and will be sharing updates about what’s coming next with Body & Belonging.
And if you’ve enjoyed the podcast, I’d be so grateful if you would leave a review. Reviews help other women discover the show and help this little community continue to grow.
Thank you for being here for these first 12 episodes. Thank you for trusting me with your time, your questions, and your stories!
You don't have to rush what's next.
And neither do I. ❤️
Until Season 2, keep practicing coming home to your body.
